Day 1 ISTANBUL – TURIN - GENOA
Meeting at 04:30 in front of the Turkish Airlines counter in the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul New Airport. We depart for Turin at 07:30 on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1309. After our arrival at 09:30 local time, we board our waiting bus and head towards Genoa port. After check-in procedures, you will have free time to settle into your cabins. With our panoramic city introduction tour here; the cathedral, which began construction in the 15th century on the site of the old Great Mosque from the Umayyad period, the royal residence Alcazar where Arab Gothic and Renaissance style palaces rise side by side, the fortress known as Golden Tower dating back to the 13th century, many medieval churches, St. Paula Convent, and the Town Hall are among the places to be seen. As the largest city in the Basque Region serving as the capital of Bizkaia province, it has much to offer, from enthusiastic state-of-the-art architecture and inspiring museums to friendly residents. Bilbao (Bilbo), stretching along the Río Nervión for approximately 14 km, allows you to always see the green slopes of the mountains on both sides beyond the high-rise buildings in the city center, even though urban sprawl now fills the narrow valley. Our ship will dock at the port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, guests who wish may join the extra "La Rochelle City Tour" organized by our guides. Start your scenic bus journey from the pier and step into this enriching experience in the Charente-Maritime region. Enjoy the serene beauty of the coastline stretching along the Corniche and see the peaceful Allée de Mail Park, a favorite promenade spot for locals since the 18th century. The route also passes in front of St. Louis Cathedral, a graceful example of neoclassical architecture dating from the 18th century and completed in the 19th century. Upon arrival at the historic city center, we walk through the story-filled streets of the old town. As you proceed on old cobblestone roads and pass under vaulted passages, arcades, and porticos, you will learn about the city's fascinating commercial and military heritage. La Rochelle developed as an important port city in the Middle Ages and played a key role in the Huguenot uprisings of the 17th century. The iconic towers of the old port, which survived from its walled past to the present day, silently witness centuries of maritime activity and international trade. After the guided walking tour, enjoy 45 minutes of free time in the car-free city center. This lively area hosts numerous cafes, markets, and local boutiques. Arrival at Hamburg Airport, after baggage and check-in procedures, we depart for Istanbul at 18:50 on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1664. Arrival in Istanbul at 23:05 local time. General Information
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Provided that passports and the required documents are submitted in full, the AGENCY will assist with obtaining visas. For international trips, it is mandatory to have a passport valid for at least 6 months.
- The AGENCY is not responsible for problems arising from the failure to submit the required visa documents on time and in full.
- Having obtained a visa does not mean that entry into that country will be permitted. Passport control officers have the authority to deny a person entry into the country. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
- Since extra beds are provided in triple rooms at hotels, the 3rd bed may be smaller than a standard bed. In some hotels, there is no 3rd bed option. For packages involving such hotels, the AGENCY will inform its guests at the time of sale.
- Child prices are valid only on the condition that the children stay in the same room and cabin as their parents as the 3rd and 4th persons. Under the 0-2 age child policy, the child must not have turned 2 by the return date of the tour; under the 3-12 age child policy, the child must not have turned 12 by the return date of the tour.
- The AGENCY reserves the right to make changes to the program due to external factors.
- If participation in the tour is insufficient, the AGENCY will notify its guests of the cancellation/change 21 days before the tour departure.
- The AGENCY acts as an intermediary between the airline and our passengers and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. Flight times may change before departure. All times must be reconfirmed 48 hours before the departure dates. Our passengers purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.
- There is a 20 kg baggage allowance on domestic low-cost flights
- The AGENCY reserves the right to change the hotels specified in the program, provided that their category remains the same.
- Extra tours are organized subject to a minimum participation requirement. They may not be organized when participation is insufficient. If the number of participants is insufficient, prices may be revised by the guide and a new arrangement may be made.
- For extra tours to be conducted en route, guests who will not participate in the tour will be directed by our guide to rest areas located before the city entrances.
- Tours that local authorities do not permit for any reason during the tour will not be conducted. The AGENCY is not responsible for the inability to conduct these tours.
- In the event of cancellation or change, the “AGENCY SALES AGREEMENT” shall apply.
- Two of the dinners you will have during the cruise are formal dinners, and every male passenger wishing to dine there is recommended to bring at least one suit, while female passengers are recommended to bring at least one evening dress.
- During the cruise, the restaurant and tables where our group will have dinner will have been determined in advance and numbered according to names. Therefore, everyone will sit in the previously designated places from the first meal to the last meal taken on the ship.
- During check-in on the ship, every passenger without exception (only 1 person in couples) must present a credit card to the ship's reception or pay a cash deposit when collecting the cabin keys. Cash is not accepted anywhere on the ship except in the casino. EUR currency and credit cards are accepted on the ship. You can view all your expenses on the televisions in your rooms.
- It is strictly forbidden to bring alcohol, irons, hair dryers, etc. onto the ship.
- At the beginning of our cruise, luggage tags in specific colors for all the luggage belonging to our group will be delivered to you together with your cruise ticket. You must attach these tags to your luggage at the cruise port.
- Your luggage may not arrive at your cabins until late in the evening on the first day of the ship's departure. This is a situation caused by the heavy workload and crowds and is entirely the responsibility of the ship. Therefore, it is advisable to place the essential items you will need on the first day you board the ship in a small hand bag and take it with you.
- The ship's departure times must be strictly observed. At ports, you must board the ship no later than 60 minutes before our ship's departure time. Otherwise, you may be unable to board the ship. Our agency will not be responsible for such a situation.
- At the end of our cruise, you must pack your luggage, attach the tags that will have been left in your cabins the night before, and leave your luggage in front of your cabin doors by 00:00. After completing the disembarkation procedures, our group will collect its luggage from the station where the group's luggage is located. WE STRONGLY REQUEST THAT EACH OF OUR GUESTS TOUCH AND CHECK THEIR OWN LUGGAGE BEFORE COLLECTING IT.
- ALL GUESTS MUST CARRY THEIR ROUND-TRIP AIRLINE TICKETS AND CRUISE TICKETS WITH THEM. GUESTS WHO DO NOT OBTAIN PRINTED COPIES OF THEIR TICKETS ARE THEMSELVES RESPONSIBLE FOR ENTRY INTO THE COUNTRY / SHIP.
