General Information
Things You Need to Know About Our River Tours;
- For our tour, a minimum of 20 participants is required for Turkish-speaking guide services. Our tour has a fixed departure date. Guests holding General (Red) Passports require a visa. Multiple-entry Schengen visas are required.
- Guests holding Green Passports and Service Passports do not require a visa.
- Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of your travel and must not be older than 10 years.
- Obtaining currency in Euros before your trip will facilitate cash payments during your shopping activities.
- You may request a tax refund form for purchases totaling 100 Euros or more. After completing customs and other procedures at the final point of exit from the European Union, you can process your tax refund using this form.
- River cruise ships do not have doctors or medical personnel on board. In case of emergencies, the reception will contact medical teams from the nearest health facility within a very short time. However, for any medical needs, our ship stops at the location closest to medical institutions to assist in promptly transferring ill guests to hospitals or similar facilities. Additionally, we recommend that you carry your regularly prescribed medications with their prescriptions and obtain comprehensive travel health insurance.
- Healthcare services provided on board the ship and at medical facilities are chargeable.
- We do not anticipate any health-threatening issues with the meals served during your river cruise. However, when you are off the ship, we advise you to be cautious regarding food and drink: consume only bottled water with sealed caps, avoid ice, milk, and dairy products, eat meat and fish products only if you are sure they are thoroughly cooked, and choose fruits like bananas and pineapples that can be peeled.
- Since it may be possible to enter different countries during your journey, specific times will be announced for each port visited by the ship. As boarding and disembarking times depend on the local time of the port you are in, please adjust your schedules accordingly.
- During the river cruise, especially when crossing country borders, your mobile phone line can be used if international roaming is enabled. Sometimes, signal loss may occur in forested areas where there are no base stations.
- For the Captain's Welcome & Farewell Cocktail nights included in your tour program, we recommend that male guests bring a suit and female guests bring an evening dress. If traveling in summer, we suggest bringing easy-to-wear T-shirts, short-sleeved and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket for evenings, and a thin sweater. Additionally, you may bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against potential noise, a camera, a video camera, along with their chargers and spare memory cards. For winter travel, we recommend clothing that allows comfortable movement and keeps you warm. The open areas of the ship can be cool during navigation regardless of the season.
- Main meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are served in the main restaurant on board. Additionally, afternoon tea and light snacks are served in the upper lounge area.
- The electrical outlets in the cabins are the same as those in Turkey.
- Accommodations in hotels before or after the river cruise program may not meet the same standards as our river ship, and identical services should not be expected. During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located further than the specified kilometers. Triple rooms may be assigned based on hotel availability; in such rooms, the bed provided for the third person may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of one large bed and one extra bed. Since these extra beds are foldable or convertible sofa beds, participants booking triple rooms for a third person and/or children are deemed to have accepted the potential crowding and bed type in the room. Child discounts apply only to one child accompanying two adults and falling within the age group specified in the pricing section.
- If hotel accommodation is included in the tour program outside of the ship, breakfasts provided will reflect the local breakfast culture of the country visited and are generally served as a limited continental menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee. These may be served in a separate hall dedicated to the group.
